Farts for Jesus

This meme made me laugh intially..."Jesus farts?" Yes, Jesus did fart. He was human, and He more than likely experienced human bodily functions. I thought that even though this portayal of Jesus was funny, it still portrayed a positive image of Christ. 

One of the most extraordinary things about Jesus Christ is that He was fully God and fully man. While people in the Bible rightfully referred to Him as the Son of God, He called Himself the Son of man. Jesus made sure to portray Himself as human so that the people He ministered to could relate to Him. 

Furthermore, He concealed His divinity for a significant amount of His ministry to prevent unnecessary political, social and theological divisions that may have led people away from God. Overall, "Jesus farts" is only one representation of what Jesus wanted mankind to realize: that He came to seek and save the lost and to serve rather than to be served. 

I would use this meme to bridge the gap for a non-Christian because it breaks the tension that comes with speaking about religion. I think people would be more open to hearing about Jesus if the conversation was started from a place of neutrality.
